Rachael Lodge

Rachael Lodge LL.B. (Hons) has been an Associate of FOGA DALEY and a member of the Firm’s Intellectual Property and Commercial Departments since 2016. Her principal practice areas include Trademark prosecution, renewals, assignments and oppositions, as well as Copyright law and Patent prosecution. She also has experience in company incorporation and administration and has a keen interest in Sports Law.

Rachael was called to the Jamaican Bar in December 2016 and is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association and its Intellectual Property and Telecommunications, Broadcasting and Technology Committees. She is also an associate member of the International Trademark Association (INTA).

She graduated from the University of the West Indies in 2014 with a Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours and graduated from the Norman Manley Law School in 2016 after obtaining a Legal Education Certificate. Rachael has Certificates from the World Intellectual Property Organisation for participating in WIPO’s Intellectual Property Summer School in Jamaica and completing WIPO’s General Course on Intellectual Property. Rachael has also received Patent Training through the TBT Programme and Jamaica Intellectual Property Office and has a Certificate of Participation for successful completion of training in Patent Examination in 2016. She has also received training in Patent Drafting at the WIPO Sub-Regional Patent Drafting Course in 2017.

Rachael is an athlete and enjoys swimming and playing water polo and has represented the University of the West Indies in various swimming competitions and has represented Jamaica in water polo both regionally and internationally. As part of the Jamaican team, Rachael has earned silver medals at the CARIFTA games in 2007, 2008 and 2012, as well as a gold medal at the Caribbean Island Swimming Championships in 2008. In her spare time, Rachael coaches the ‘Pickney Polo’ 10 and under water polo teams for the Jamaica Water Polo Union. Rachael also enjoys playing the violin and is past member of the Jamaica Young People Symphony and Music House String Ensemble, winning Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) awards for individual and group violin pieces.

Danique Cornwall

Danique Cornwall B.Sc. (Hons), LL.B. (Hons) has been an Associate of FOGA DALEY and a member of the Firm’s Commercial Department since 2015. Her principal areas of practice are business registration, commercial and residential conveyancing, contract law, probate and debt-recovery.

Danique was called to the Jamaican Bar in December 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with First Class Honours from the University of the West Indies, Mona and Bachelor of Laws Degree with an Upper Second Class Honours from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill. She is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association and its Conveyancing and Intellectual Property Committees. She is also an associate member of the International Trademark Association (INTA).

Danique graduated from the Norman Manley Law School in 2015 after obtaining a Legal Education Certificate. At the Norman Manley Law School, She was President of the “Little Red Dress”, an organization committed to the personal growth and empowerment of women. Danique was awarded “The Grant, Stewart, Phillips & Company Prize” for students with the best performance in Civil Procedure and Practice I & II over the two years.

Her widespread involvement in the activities of the Law School were also recognized at the 2015 graduation when she was awarded “The Andrea Gabrielle Lloyd Memorial Prize” for students who were most involved in co-curricular activities and showed most interest in the Law School.

Howard Harris

Howard Harris B.A., M.S., J.D. has been an Associate of FOGA DALEY and a member of the Firm’s Intellectual Property (IP) Department since 2011. His principal practice areas include IP rights acquisition and transactions in relation to trademarks, copyright and patents, IP Enforcement and Entertainment Law. He also has experience in commercial and regulatory compliance and debt-recovery matters.

Howard was called to the Florida Bar in 2009 and qualified as an Attorney-at-Law in Jamaica in 2011. He holds a Juris Doctorate from the Loyola College of Law, Louisiana, a Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Miami, Florida and the Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School, Jamaica.

Howard is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association and serves on JAMBAR’s Civil Practice and Procedure and Intellectual Property Committees. He is also a member of the Standards Council Information Communication and Technology Committee of the Bureau of Standards, Jamaica.

Howard is an associate member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and one of the Firm’s representatives on the Intellectual Property Caribbean Association (IPCA) where he serves as Vice Chairman of the Enforcement and Anti-Counterfeiting Committee. He is a certified mediator through the Dispute Resolution Centre of Jamaica and a ccertified participant in WIPO sponsored Patent Training Courses.

Before joining Foga Daley, Howard worked with the law firm of Lorenzo & Capua in Miami, Florida which specialized in Workers Compensation Benefits, Intellectual Property Contracts and Real Estate transactions.

Shyvonne Osborne Perry

Shyvonne Osborne Perry B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons) has been an Associate of FOGA DALEY and member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Department since 2014. Her principal practice areas are patent and trademark prosecution, maintenance, assignments, and copyright and trademark (anti-counterfeiting) enforcement proceedings. She also has experience in commercial matters such as debt recovery and product registrations.

Shyvonne was called to the Jamaican Bar in December 2014 and is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Committee, Commercial Committee and Conveyancing Committee. She is also an associate member of the International Trademark Association (INTA).

Shyvonne graduated from the Norman Manley Law School in 2014 after obtaining a Legal Education Certificate. While at the Norman Manley Law School she received the Jamaican American Bar Association (NE) Scholarship. Shyvonne holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and Criminology (2005) from the University of the West Indies, Mona and a Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours (2009) from the University of Technology, Jamaica, where she received the Student’s Union Faculty of Law Scholarship for academics and extra-curricular activities.

Shyvonne has a passion for charities especially those pertaining to young mothers and children. She has volunteered over the years at different homes and in 2017 adopted a home for teen mothers called Mary’s Child. She has recently become interested in fitness and enjoys participation in 5k charity events.
